6" Superlift 99 GMC

I'm new to the forum and it looks like some pretty good advice is passed on. I have already set my sights on the Superlift 6" lift for my GMC. The question is how hard is it to install for the average Joe. I am an aircraft mech. so I know my way around tools pretty well and consider myself more mechanically inclined than most. Any info would be greatly appreciated

I'm not sure about the specifics of the Superlift, but a friend and I installed a 6" BDS lift on my truck and looking back, there wasn't anything that was that bad. It took us two days but it was worth it. Just be very cautious when unloading and reloading the torsion bars. In my opinion that's probably the most dangerous part of the install. Good luck.

The Superlift has ALOT more parts than the other 6" kits for your truck.

I know a couple people that have done there SL kit that were able to do it, but personally I dont think I would want to just b/c of all the parts.
