I'm glad he's done his homework, what with the dozens of crashes he's investigated. I could test dozens of crashes and come up with my own "scare the public" commentary. Shouldn't the studies be done on dozens of crashes CAUSED by modified pickups. Just my 2 cents.

I would be interested to know what the circumstances regarding the opening accident were.

 

It's funny that they mention NJ though. I'm pretty sure it's the only state that actually does a visual inspection to make sure things were done safely. They go over everything. They even do a simulated rollover test. Here's a pic.
