Stock Lights on 99 Sierra ???

My99 Sierra has what seems to be an unusual problem with the right headlight. It has a dark spot toward the top of the low beam which 'sometimes' get larger. I noticed this while setting in front of a store where my lights reflected. I changed the H4 bulb to see if that helped but it did not.

 

Any help appreciated.

Sounds like you may have gotten some moisture in the housing,or the reflector is discoloring....composit lamp housings tend too do this as they get older....only way I know of to correct this is to replace the housing

You should be able to find a replacement from 1 of the recommended vendors on this site...IF you choose this route....My '95 is doing this,I bought it used,the previous owner had a wreck and the left lhousing was newer,now the other 1 looks dull....

 

OR you can check w/your dealer and see if they will replace it...worth a shot
