1987BLazer Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 Im adding a body lift 3 inch to my 1987 Blazer Full Size. I have a auto trans. Do I still need to make the linkage longer? IF anyone can let me know what all I need to lengthing would sure help me.
chvythndr Posted May 14, 2004 Posted May 14, 2004 I think you will have to. I just did a body lift on a buddies '75 C20 last month and it's simple. The Performance Accessories 3" kit comes w/ a 3" steel extension for the trans linkage. It's just a 3" peice of 1/4" (I think) steel that you weld to your current trans linkage. Took all of a few seconds to weld it on, but if you don't have a welder, take it to any machine shop along w/ your stock trans linkage and have them weld it on for you.
