coyotekid Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 I drove by a local dealership the other day, and I noticed a full size Chevy that was a teal color sitting with all the other trucks. It wasn't the green metallic color that has been around for a while; this was definitely different. I didn't have a chance to stop and look, but I think it may have been a 3/4 ton. Any ideas? This was a brand new truck, and it didn't look like it had been custom painted aftermarket.
coyotekid Posted May 22, 2004 Author Posted May 22, 2004 Yeah! Or at least it's close to that. This is more metallic and has what looks like a clear coat too. Also, it's a little lighter shade. This is the only truck like this I've seen. I may have to ask the dealer more about it.
Wingnut Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Well...That's on a 92, so it's probably not quite as shiny as it was when it rolled off the line. But it is metallic. "Metallic Teal Blue" is what the color said on the sticker. It looks a little blue on some days, and others it looks green. Depends on the light.
BuiltNotBought Posted May 25, 2004 Posted May 25, 2004 I haven't seen that colot on a truck since like 96.
black&grayHD Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 You mean something like this color? Looks better in the sun
Wingnut Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 Yeah, but try as I might, I couldn't make the rain go away.
