Stock radio screwed up

Yesterday the radio did not have any sound, it is a RDS type. The display works the RDS gives out information but no sound. ,

This is the second time it happened. After I stopped for the second , restarted the truck and it work fine.

Can not take to dealer because it will be working and who wants the old story we could not make the fault we do not know what is wrong.

Has this happen to anyone else?

The best thing you can do is go ahead and upgrade to a nice aftermarket unit.

it happens when i start the truck. Both cases the I was drive around early in the day. Go out to go someplace else and not sound.

The first time I drove to the dealship and turn off the truck and got the sevice manger to look. Start the truck and of couse it work fine.

On Saturday afternoo, I was out earlier and was going over to a friend place and no sound, stopped twice and restarted the truck no sound , drove another 15 mintutes stopped at friend's, when back to truck radio work

It wa strange problem.
