Anyone ever Scan a Westers Tune with LS1-Edit?

I would really like to see what type of changes they make... Especially for the gas mileage.. Do they lower Timing? or Raise it...

I plan to change the Stoich Ratio from 14.7 to 15 and lower the Thermostat to a 172. I know with the leaner mixture the temps may go up.. The tstat should keep that to a minimum...

Any LS1-Edit Guys here?

By the way... I am not looking to rip off a Wester Tune.. Only get ideas for myself.. I would NEVER use a "canned tune"

In Fact I had a canned tune in my Vette... When I got my LS1-edit I immediately read the tune... It was a joke...

I changed it so drastically it did not matter. My tune rocked the car!!! I plan to do the same with my 2001 Tahoe...

Ive never read one. Dont really want to. Im sure Westers raises timing numbers across the board. Hve you checked out the Edit flash library yet??

Problem is that my Frigging software won't read a Truck PCM... I swear Ken has a great product but really shafted us on the reads....

We should have the ability to read anything.. We are only paying for the ability to PROGRAM

I think westers protects his tunes some how so you can't rip em off?? I may be wrong though???

Probably end up just copying my tune from the Vette.... ;)

I get over 30mpg at 80mph.... :flag:

Yea, it is a bum deal we cant read many other PCM's. Im thinking about dumping Edit for HPTuners VCM suite. Read anything and program any truck that is the same year as the licensed truck. Also has logging software included that uses the same cable I believe. All for $550 bucks. To me it sounds like a hell of alot better deal. Too bad this HPTuners setup came about a year and a half too late!!!
