Tranny cooler lines leaking

Put the new engine/transmission in and fired it up. One of the transmission cooler lines are leaking, more specifically the bottom line from the connection at the transmission. I do not have the quick connect lines, but I cannot get a wrench on there.

 

Any advice for tightening it up?

Maybe pull up carpet and cut a access hole on tranny hump and make a cover plate to close it off when done. In old day the trany hump pan was removable but this is not generally the case now.

I just replaced mine...you can reach them but its a pain

If you have the heat shield on the pass.side of the tranny its easier to see what your doin if you take it off,then you should be able to reach your arm around the cross-member from behind,a stubby wrench is also helpfull.....like I said its a pain,but thats how I reached mine.

Maybe you could put a jack under tranny and drop cross member to gain good access too!
