A few months ago I got really stuck in snow.

I probably did something i shouldn't have. I put it in four low and put the gas to it. all four tires were spinning

and I know now not to do that but I'm wondering what problems I might have caused or what I should look for

to see if i messed something up. by the way I got out.

I doubt you hurt anything. I would have use 4HI though as it would have given you more controlable torque if you needed to feather it out or wheel speed to "dig out" . I have had a snow plow bussiness for years and if I get hung up I get out and examine the problem before I make it worse. Sometimes a minute or two of shoveling at the onset can save you a lot more shoveling or a wrecker bill.

have you used 4wd since then? if you have and everything worked alright you're ok. if something would have broken you would have realised it pretty quick more than likely

If he had broken it , he would have never gotten out! I miss the old trucks of the 70's. The 4wd on them was just about bullet proof!
