New truck Delivery

Hi, i was wondering what people's experiences have been for ordering a GMC, I'm looking for a manual trans which are non-existant here in the massachusetts area. I want to take advantage of the $4000 GM loyalty offer, but I don't know how long delivery takes and if it would be in by the 08/02/04 cutoff date. Also, any info on experiences ordering a truck special would be appreciated. Thanks!

Orders are done for the 04 model year, they ended a few weeks ago.

Why not have your dealer run a "locate" on the truck you want. They can specify the options you want and the options you do not want and the distance from the dealership. This should tell you where the nearest truck is located with the equipment you desire. Then they should be able to do a dealer trade to get the truck you want for you.

 

The last four trucks I bought were from dealers other tham the one I bought it from.

I had them do a locate, and the only stick shifts in the new england area were V6s or very stripped 4.8s. I don't care about power windows etc. but they were like A/C delete stripped. I also did my own locate on GMC.com and I didn't have much luck either.
