99-00 Silverado Wheels

Greetings all. I just picked up a set of 16" Polished Aluminum Silverado wheels for under $500.00 and would like to put them on a 2002 but unsure if they will clear the calipers... anyone have any thoughts on these ? GM P/N-9593590

They will only fit if you have carpet and cup holders.

As long as they are the same bolt pattern (6 or 8 lug), all of the wheels for '99-'04 Silverados (NBS) are interchangeable with their respective bolt pattern. Also Avalanche, '00-'04 Tahoe, Suburban and Yukon wheels are interchangeable with the 6 lug wheels (unless 3/4 ton, then interchangeable with 8 lug). The wheels from '88-'99 body style will not fit. Hope that helps.

The six lug wheels from 88-99 will fit the newer body styles. To get six lug though in the obs I think you had to go 4x4. I know my friend's tahoe is a '97 model and 4x4, his wheels will fit my '03 z-71.

Teee Hee Hee!!! OH d**n.. and to think, I almost didn't get those cup holders... WHEW... I guess I lucked out!!! COOLNESS!! Seriously speaking though... this is good news as I just couldn't find a wheel I liked (on a 4x4) for my '02!! Les Schwab tried to talk me into some 20" chromes... he said.. "Everybody's got these on"... ... I looked at him and said, "20"'s.... ON A 4x4"???? I think he's been smokin too much of Les's Hay or something

 

Anyway, I'm hopin' these will look good on my Silverado. Has anyone seen the 16" polished aluminum's on the Silverado's?.. I was told they're rare to see due to the fact customer's didn't want to spring the extra $$$$ for them at $ 489.00 ea.

I had a 2000 2wd Silverado that I tried to put OBS 99 4x4 wheels on and it did not work. The bolt pattern was the same and they mounted fine, but they hit the calipers and would not turn.
