Cammed '97 Vortec 5.7L

Hey guys,

Yea its me again. Just checkin to see if anybody knows of a company who makes aftermarket "low vacuum" calibrated map sensors for my '97 yukon. Talked to a guy today and he said hes seen them around, but couldnt remember who or where.

Got almost 15,000 on this truck since I bought it and put the engine in. I'm so used to driving two footed at stop lights so that it doesnt surge already that it doesnt bother me too much anymore, but i want to fix the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

check www.turbocity.com I know they used to have some for the old tbi engines. They may be able to help you out with the 5.7 vortech as well.

I think a custom ECM tunning would be more in order here too

Nothing beats a custom pcm, but if your strapped for cash like I am (just got out of college), then the turbocity deal may not be such a bad idea. I thought I remembered seeing them on there for like 30-40 dollars for the tbi but I could be wrong.
