You know in South Korea you can get a 20Mbit conection for less than I payed for my 3mbit connection from RoadRunner....?

I have DSLite They claim 756 down and 128 up, never have come close to that though. Usually around 625 down and 75 up.

Here's one from Bandwidthplace.com that I use and seems pretty accurate.

Right now I'm testing out at 2.7 mps and that's about the norm for this machine with my roadrunner cable connection.

20mbit connection to where tho?? I doubt they are running several OC's to feed that local ISP. I have got up to 6M on my RR acct on a few occasions 4-5 is quite common tho

DSL at work at like 380 KB/sec, at home I have to deal with dial-up, and thats like 2 or 3 KB/sec. Freakin killing me. I can't get DSL there because I'm only here for 4 months, and they'll charge me $200 if the contract is not for 12 months. AND, I can't get cable because the cable that comes to my apartment is via satelite with the apartment complex. BASTARDS!!!!!

I read about there 20Mbit connection in South Korea in a article here saying how the UK's internet sucks compared to everywhere else in the world (im at 1Mbit for about $70/month). They said S. Korea has the highest broadband users with like 70% of homes has broadband. Japan has the fastest at 26Mbit for only 16 Pounds (about $30) a month.
