:D I actually have two questions,

I want to put amber DRL's in my 03 Silverado, but don't know which ones to buy... Can I get them at Pep-Boys, or do I have to order them?

I would also like to take the molding on the outside doors that protect it from door dings.... Any easy way of doing this..... Will I see any fading of the paint? Thanks..

pulled my molding off with no problem. Thenwent back with bug and tar remover to finish getting all of the sticky stuff off the paint. Just remember to go back and wax the truck afterwards. Your truck is still fairly new so their should be no paint fading at all.

Does this apply to the 99 Sierra?

atomoverride What do your's look like ON, have any pics? Where did you get them, eBay or parts stores? In my area some people have the amber DRLs, not too many, but it is on the edge of too many have them ... but I also hate following the pack, and would prefer something different that no one is doing :D ... yet. :fume:

99-05 these bulbs will work. I got them off ebay, just search by bulb number, and color or by the word "hyper". I dont have a picture of them on but I will see if I can get one today and post it up later.

Yeah Amber is being played out too quick. I left my amber ones in my turn signals. But thats all.

If you don't want to go the eBay route, you can always go to Pep Boys or Wal-Mart and just buy some amber replacement bulbs. The number you should look for is something like 3157NALL. Once in a while, I'll see a rig with some ambers. I think they look slick :)

Besides, practically every other GM vehicle has Amber DRLs...the fullsize trucks should too
