Waxing causes power failures

I waxed the truck before I left for my honeymoon, then when I returned two weeks later the passenger door controls stopped working. No door locks, windows or power mirror controls will work from either seat. The weird thing is the turn signal will work in the mirror, but it will not extend or tilt and the seat heater works but the light won't illuminate. I looked at the owners manual and there must be a circuit breaker for each seat component; this thing must be able to power a small village.

I was going to check the fuses but I was afraid to pull any for fear of resetting a computer and the truck forgets how to start, so it goes to the dealer on Monday. Occasionally the auto climate control acts weird, like not running the fan on high when the temp is set at 68 and its about 90 in the cab, and the other day the recirculate light came on while on auto then later turned off. Never saw that before.

Thoughts on how a truck sits in a garage for 2 weeks and blows fuses or why my climate control has no control?

I'm not sure what to tell you about your switches, but the climate control when left in Auto, will temporarily kick into "recirculate" when the sensors in the cab are extremely warm.

just a quick note. pulling a fuse will hurt nothing. imagine what trouble any auto manufacturer would have if their vehichles stopped working cause a battery died. reminds me of the old wive's tale that if you run out of gas in a fuel injected engine you have to go to the dealer to get it restarted. check them fuses and don't give it a second thought.

Sounds like there might be trouble with the passenger door BCM. Take that thing to the dealership and let them figure it out. 04 you surely are under warranty?

It goes to the dealer on Monday, its a free fix just a pain cause the keyless remote doesn't work right either, probably because of the door locks. I don't know how many times I've set off the alarm getting in the passenger side.
