Routine Tire Rotation with Pressure Monitoring

So, what are most people doing when they rotate their tires? It seems like a hassle to reprogram your tire locations into the tire pressure monitoring system every time the tires are rotated. I always rotate front to back. Would you just put a note in your service journal that your tires are rotated oppositely and throw the note away when they're back to normal?

Really, it shouldn't be too hard to tell when one tire has dropped anyway. I suppose if your tires aren't always in the exact monitored position, at least you know that one somewhere has dropped.

If you reprogram them, they will read the correct positions. If not, there will be a error message that stays lit in the DIC. This doesn't go off until you reprogram the tpm system.
