Wester's Tune Opinions

Got in on the Wester's GP offered by TByrne and I'm trying to fill out my questionare.

Truck: 2000 Silv. Extra Cab Short Box 4wd, 5.3L, 4.10 gearing, 285/75R-16, No mods except K&N air filter and tires (from 265 to 285).

Truck is a daily driver. Tend to haul dirt bikes around in back don't tow anything over 4000lb.

TUNE: I'm leaning toward the 87/91 dual tune. I normally buy 87 octane gas and premium here is 92.

Is there any significant advantage to the 89/93 tune in terms of performance or fuel economy? I would go this route is there is benefit to the extra $ spent at the pump.

TORQUE MANAGEMENT: From what I've read in the last few weeks, I think I will remove "most all".

TRANNY: I want him to firm up the shifts in the tranny, but I have issues with the way the stock programming shifts. The truck has a dead spot around 45-50mph. It likes to sit in OD at about 1100-1200 rpm (where this engine seems to make very little power) and I have to put my foot into it pretty hard to get it to shift down and then it screams. I either need to gain low end power or change the shifting to keep the RPM's up. Will raising the shift RPM's effect this or does that just effect WOT?

Also what is the stock speed limiter set at? (If I haven't hit it then I probably don't need to raise it.)

Thanks for your time. All opinions are welcome.
