Alpine?

Anybody use Alpine? Im looking at picking up a MRD-M501 Digital V-12 amp and some SPR-176A comp. speakers, but want some feedback first. I had the 176A's in my last truck and was happy with them for the money. How are the 176A's compared to the Pioneer's?

Also looking at the CDA-9833 Deck....

not sure about the speakers but that deck is pretty nice. How much can you get it for?

I got the sps 570A speakers in my front doors and they are extraordinary. You don't even need components after you put those in. I'm going to get the CDA-9830 when I get some money.

not familiar with that model number off the top of my head, but i would choose alpine over pioneer ANY day.

and that's not a bad price for the headunit. but are you still getting a warranty with it?

I have to disagree a bit on this one. Components will always be a better choice over a co-axial speakers. Simply because of the ability to set the sound stage better, they give better response curves, and are usually better quality. I dont doubt that the 5x7s sound great, but just imagine what the Alpine 5.25" components would sound like?

I have always used ///Alpine head units on every car I have ever owned, every system I have had (13+ years). Their quality is top notch and I would not hesitate to reccomend them.
