Anybody have and advice on this brand. I can get 285's for around 110 a tire mounted.

Cheap but are they worth a crap????????

They are a light truck tire I think they are called conti-trac?

I have a friend who lives in North Carolina and works for Continental, he says that their light truck tires are decent, but then again, that's a bias opinion. I know that their car tires are alright for the $$$, but not to sure on the truck tires.

I have had those kind of tires on a Caddilac. They were awful, and didnt last long. Maybe checkout the adds in the paper for someone who has new take offs for sale. I am very happy with the Good Years that came on my Avalanche.

Just my 2 cents

You might try the customer survey results on tirerack.com, they sell Continental Tires. I think ContiTrac is the stock tire on some models of Ford Escape and F150, maybe others?

Cheap tires will cost you in the long run. They are no insurance against an accident, won't hold up, and won't perform to your liking.

For the ultimate stock upgrade get a set of Bridgeston Dueler A/T Revos.

Read the reviews about these tires. They are not expensive and you won't look back wondering about your decision. They perform exceptionally well.
