HEADERS

Are headers for a 01 4.8 silverado the same as for the 03-04? I found a good price but want to make sure they work. The only thing I see is the EGR tube wich my truck doesnt have. I can easily it cap if they dont come with one? help please.

I am not sure but I would imagine that they are same.

Like I said the only thing I see that I would have to do is cap the EGR on the headers. I hope they are it is a great Price

If these are 'shorty" headers, check the passenger side exhaust flange. The early manifolds used a O-ring on the Driver's Side and a cone gasket on the Passenger side. The later ones have O-rings on both sides.
