Possible Ignition Switch?????

I have a 98 Blazer and the Security lights and instrument cluster lights come on for most of the duration of my ride. When I park the vehicle the cluster lights go off except the security light. That stays on even with the key out. There is no aftermarket parts on the Blazer and I have about 75,000k on it. I was thinking it is the ignition switch or possibly the Passlock II system. Can anyone advise? It doesn't stop my vehicle, just the lights come on and my guages don't work.

I'm not sure if this will help,because I have 99 NBS truck,but my security light was on steady and it turned out to be the passlock sensor in the ignition lock. The system goes into a default mode so the vehichle is still driveable.
