Coming home last saturday night, the whole truck electrical system just faded off and quit. Just as I was pulling off of the road, it turned back on and contiued to operate correctly. But then it did it again and again. Each time the amp gauge would fall to about 10 volts before everything went black. The lights would dim before going off as well. I drove to the first small street I could pull off of because I did not want to let it sit on the roadside without hazard lights. It seemed like someone pulled the key out of the ignition and did this about twleve times in a matter of 2 miles. I finally had it towed to the dealer, but they cannot find anything wrong. Please help, I do not want this to happen to my wife with children in the car.

Does the engine stall or stumble? Did the SES (Service Engine Soon) light come on or does it have a Check Gauges light that comes on when it does this?

Could be a loose connection at the alternator or Convenience Center (under-hood fuse block) or even a faulty Alternator...just a thought

The engine never actually dies, just sorta stubles then keeps going. No lights come on or anything. The dealer has checked everything and cannot find the problem. It is now in the shop for the second time and they still cannot find a solution or a cause.
