Fender Flares

I decided my truck needs flares, is factory the way to go or is there an aftermarket you guys would say is the better way to go? Thank You

I did some searching for some flares for my 2000. Factory ones were hugely expensive. IF I remember right the total cost of 4 painted and installed was somewhere around ?. I may be wrong on the exact cost but it was a lot. Bushwacker has several options, one of which was a set the matched the manufacturers and I believe they were around ?. The Bushwacker site has pix. The Bushwacker OE series is what my youngest brother put on his truck and they went for around #325.

They took about an hour and a half to install and look just like the factory flares,hence the name OE.

He left his black but you can paint them to match before installing them if you wish to.

Check out Tom's (mountaneer) truck... I think he put the bushawackers on his and the look great!!! I'd imagine you could scuff them and paint them to match.

Yup, the Bushwackers come in the matte black and are ready to paint or you can just install as is.

Welcome to the site. I have the Bushwacker Street Flares on my truck. They are not as big as the OE style. I'm happy with them and very easy install, no drilling.

I have the OE style which are a little bigger than he stock ones. When I got my truck I wanted the factory ones, but they were too expensive, so my dealer threw in the Bushwacker OE for nothing. All I had to do was get them painted. Look at my page if you wanna see them.
