ive been surfing RV.NET for some time now, and today i think i may cancel my subscription. ive had it! it appears, one cant answere questions or give honest opinions or feeling on these other forums without being ridiculed and im seeing more of this. first i have noticed that if you dont have a 1ton, dually, diesel you dont have a real truck (no matter what size your camper is ). second, i have noticed no matter how much research you do, the trucks owner manual is incorrect and the forum members are the authority when it comes to your trucks towing ability. and lastly, if you dont agree with the majority its not worth posting a comment. im not saying the forum hasnt helped me at all, but you have to be able to siff through the BS yourself or you could find yourself buying a lot of crap you dont need, and still with questions to be answered.

I agree it's pretty bad on that board. Some of the stupid questions are just too funny though..... I can't give it up...... :smash:

Example: My unit has two outlets on the side, one for single grey water tank, and one for Black and Grey tandem. How do you connect both to sewer? :devil:

I see that all the time at trailerlife.com. If you don't have a $50000 tow vehicle you're not qualified to play. There's some knowledgable folks there but it has it's share of idiots as well.

I love to see diesel duallys pulling jet skis or pop-up campers! Thats the mentality alot of these guys have! :devil:

Isn't bigger always better?? :thumbs:  :sigh:  :loser:

Of course size matters. That is why when I am not driving my truck, I am driving this "rig" :)

Of course, we will always give the little guys a ride if they ask nicely :lol::lol::D

Yep, I agree about RV.net. Some of those folks are real experts. Especially like the posts that ask "how do I get from Florida to Denver?" (use a frigging map, or at least mapquest, duhhh) and then you have some xpert tell how wonderful Estes Park is because he lived there for a few years, but now lives in Arizona...... ok, I'm off my soapbox.

Besides, they would NEVER admit that my Tahoe can tow a 27' TT. :flag: That whole rule of thumb BS.

:fume::cool:

Cheers, Doug
