TBI stumbling under low throttle conditions

Under low throttle conditions the engine will start to stumble and buck. My first guess will be vac. lines, TPS, and plugs wires. My question is, is there any gasket/vac line prone to drying and cracking in the TBI vehicles?

I've heard a rumor about the TB to Intake gasket ... true/untrue?

Thanks guys,

That is true. I had an 89 that was hard to start ( had to keep the throttle floored) and if you gave it any gas it would stumble and die. I ended up idleing back to the house and spraying carb cleaner around the tb to find the leak. I've also had a leaking head gasket cause the same thing. The truck would get a lope to it if you barely gave it gas and would go away if you gave it a little more. A few weeks later it blew out where a weak head bolt busted. You could tell it had been leaking for quite a while by the water stains. After put new head gaskets on it went away. May try doing a compression check on all cylinders and look for a low one. Sorry about rambling, good luck!

Thanks chuck - When I get a spare 30 minutes I'll be doing that gasket.
