New Silverado Oil Filter - PF61???

Has anyone heard of a new oil filter for the silverado trucks? I was in a chevy parts dept today (buying a few things for my impala) when a guy came in asking for an oil filter for his silverado (he asked for a PF-59 I know that). I kinda overhead (I was talking to the lady behind the counter) another guy behind the counter say to the guy they stopped with the PF-59 and now its a PF-61. Anyone heard about this? Doesnt bother me i have about 10 PF-59s still

Nope,not that I know of,the PF59 was replaced with the PF46 on the '03-up trucks(but you can replace it like I did with the PF59)

The PF61 is used on the Trailblazers/Envoys/Bravadas with the 4.2 6-cyl.and all the Cadillacs with the Northstar V8.
