Just thought I would say hi.  I just recently got a truck after sell off my mustang.  I haven't done to much to it yet but have been reading everything that most of you have done and am getting the mod itch.  I had spent tons of $$ modding my stang but I have only done little things thus for to this truck.  I have a 2002 Indigo Silverado LT and so far it has GM molded mudflaps, a bedmat, Access Cover, Catchall floormats, a bug shield and of coarse many coats of Liquid Glass polish.  Not the kind of mods that I am use to but since it snows in MN alot i had to finally get a decent daily driver.  It has been different drive a truck instead of my stang but I hope to do many other things...like some motor mods to this thing to give it a little more go!! I am glad they have a forum for trucks too later!

Welcome to the site mnsilverado,

One of the easiest mods for the motor is the K&N FIPK.  That will free up your intake a little bit.  Warning about exhausts: there seems to be only a few aftermarket exhausts that really help in everyday driving.   Most create their extra HP in the high rpm's, and this seems to flatten out the bottom end a little...

Of course there is the HyperTech, and some other simple mods to do...

Keep in touch and maybe we can help you...

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the new truck. As far as mods go for me it is more like a sickness then an itch. I have done some stuff to my Silverado but have more things to go. Keep us posted on the progress.

Welcome to the forum and don't worry because there is an endless supply of mods to do on these trucks.  You may want to check out my site to see some of the mods that I have done.  But, once again, welcome aboard and we hope you stay a long time.
