I'm heading to Idaho tomorow to swap my 03 Hemi Ram for a Sliverado 1500 Crew LS with 4.10s in Arrival Blue.Couldn't swallow the Hemi mileage anymore!

Nice choice Don I know a few folks locally who get lousy mileage with their Ram 5.7s. I get essentially the same with the F250 but it weighs 7K lbs and has a bigger engine.

 

You going to get another 4x4? Post some pictures when you get a chance to.

 

I know what you mean about gas expense though-went with a Vibe to use for a daily driver and now I spend alot less time at the pumps!

4x4 is a must,Dave Smith in Idaho is a Huge Dodge/GM dealer that has great deals but it's 7hrs.Nobody local would touch their deal so it's Road Trip!I'll post pics Monday ,Sunday I'm taking it Elk Hunting..........

Looking at your name I assume you are from Wyoming. My father-in-law lives in Rock Springs. That is where we vacation each year. He purchased the Chevy that I bought from him at Gus Paulos in Salt Lake. He is one that unless he gets a VERY good deal, he won't buy from them. So, evidently he did.

I've never owned a Dodge truck, but understand they are awful on gas as compared to the General. Depending on how you drive I'm fairly certain you'll see an increase in MPG. I have an 04 Crew Z71 with 5.3 and 3.73 rear end. I average around 16 in day to day and have gotten slightly over 20 on the highway. As long as you're not to pedal happy, the GM trucks are really good on gas for a BIG vehicle. Best wishes and advance congrats on the new ride.....good choice.

Wednesday or Thursday after the goodies are on I'll have pics,I wired the XM Radio and Radar detector in ,cranked the torsion bars and put my Studded M/S tires on tonight.I also took the lower air deflector off the front bumper.
