Adjustment on my door window switches?

Recommended Posts

I had my door panels off today and saw on both door window switches there is a round adjustment pod. What does this work? I didn't want to mess with it and find out so I figured I'd post it here and see. When I had the driver side out I thought it might of been an adjustment for the auto-down feature but then I saw the same pod on the passenger side and that don't have auto-down. Hopefully someone out there in GM land knows! :loser: Thanks! :banghead:

Are you talking about the light bulb?

Oh is that a socket of some type for the light bulb? I guess it could be that. Didn't want to turn it just in case it was some type of adjustment. It's like a round blue flat piece with a slot in the middle for a jewlers type flat head to fit in. When you turn the power window switch module upside down it's the only hole in the middle with this knob. So it's the light bulb for the switches?

That's it. If you turn the thing it will come out and you can change the bulb when it needs it.
