Blazer fuel filter replacement..

Im looking for Performance fuel filter for an 01 blazer. id rather not replace mine with a OEM version...

 

Any one know where i can find one??? will it replace stock??

I use ACDelco brand. (same as dealer)

 

But you could get carquest or fram. Carquest's brand makes a heavy duty fuel filter. Make sure you do it every 20,000 miles.

I found a puralator and wiz (?) makers also, not quite time to add a new one but i like to go with stuff thats better quality than oem.

I think you are referring to Wix, and they are supposed to be some of the better filters out there.

Wix is a popular filter used on Tractor Trailers!

 

Only reason I say every 20,000 on the filter is due to the fact of how much junk is pumped into your tank when you fill up. I just did mine after 22,000 miles and it was full of metal shavings and tons of grime.
