Westin Step Bars

Well, here goes. Ordered Westin Siganture Series bars, black powder coated, from truckxpressions.com. They arrived damaged, and it seemed that it was equal parts crappy handling by UPS and crappy packaging, so I sent them back. Good customer service from the vendor, they were out, so they were re-shipped directly from Westin. The bars arrived damaged again, but to a much lesser degree (just needed some touch up paint in a couple of spots). Since it was a small hassle to send them back, I touched them up and put them on. Now, the center bolt is a self-tapping type, which was impossible to do by hand. Luckily, I have a compressor and an impact wrench, which did the trick. Without the compressor it would have been impossible. So, two gripes: totally inadequate packaging (not even styrofoam to protect the ends of the bars) and poor engineering. I then sent a long e-mail to Westin's customer service, which they never replied to. Suffice it to say I will never order any of their products again!
