01 Tahoe Running Light Replacement

How do you access the front daytime running light bulb to replace it?

 

Somewhere I heard that the housing came out without damaging ones arm from trying to squeeze in that impossible space.

Remove the grille and the runniung/signal light box comes right out with a squeeze of a plastic clip.

Actually it much easier than removing the Grille.. Remove the 2 locking pins that hold the Headlights in.. You twist them and pull them straight up. Then pull the headlight out, reach your arm down inside and unhook the plastic tab on the running light assembly. You can immediately put the headlight back and put the pins back in. You now can work on the the bulb replacement below and then just snap the housing back in. ;)

 

Be sure to put the pins back in.. I was a retard and left them on the air filter. I was only able to find one of them after a day..
