New best 1/4 mile times

Yesterday I headed down the the local dragstrip to play around with the truck. First pass I bested my previous time by 3 tenths of a second right off the bat (15.821 1/4 mile)

 

The second pass I dropped another hundreth. Here they are

 

1st pass

330 foot 6.551

1/8 mile 9.995 @ 72.04 mph

1000 foot 12.949

1/4 mile 15.514 @ 87.41 mph

 

2nd pass

 

Reaction time .022 (i figured out the tree, lol)

330 foor 6.487

1/8 mile 9.961 @ 71.38

1000 foot 12.926

1/4 mile 15.501 @ 86.84

 

I figured this wasn't bad considering the limited mods I have. K&N panel filter,

Dynomax super turbo cat-back exhaust. The truck was left in 3rd with tow/haul mode off, tail gate up and 1/4 tank of gas

dang, that's nice. very close to my bimmer (of course that's not what they were made for in 87)
