F/S 383 short block (unfinished project)

I am selling the 383 project motor from my corvette - i have decided it is too costly to complete at this time, and am trying to get out from underneath it.

i have a BRAND NEW GM block bored bought from midway chevrolet in AZ 2 piece rear main seal, 4bolt main ($861)

rotating assembly was purchased from allen motorsports in texas eagle forged stroker crank eagle forged H beam rods, and JE forged pistons and JE rings ($1693)

Machine work was done by Basko Performance in Mesa AZ

bored .030 over, clearanced (for longer stroke) decked (zero deck height) and balanced.($780)

assembly was done by a couple Corvette Forum Members and myself

Holley Stealth Ram and BBK 58mm throttle body were purchased from Summit racing ($610)

all this can be yours for $3944 (which is what i have into it)

i will consider meeting on the border of new mexico, california, etc. (half way would be "fair")

but have no desire to ship this thing anywhere!

I sent you a PM saying that I was going to pass on the system b/c I want the 58mm TB from Holley with NOS hook ups for some fun if I wanted too plus it revs a little high for me, I want my peak hp between 5250 to 5500, HSR system is around 6k. Thanks for your help though.....if I changed my mind, I will keep you in mind.
