New tires for the Jeep

I had Goodyear Wrangler MT/R 31x10.50s put on the Jeep. It looks much better then the stock GSAs that came on it.

Your new Jeep just became a "rare bird" and it is a keeper! Because of the HUGE backlash of owners of Jeeps, DC decided to return to black flares and hard tops instead of the gray. Your gray top is of a limited number.

 

Congrats on the Jeep. I want a Rubicon so bad I can taste it, but a family ride comes first!

I like the grey top with blue. My flares are painted as part of the Premium package that came on the Jeep. That crome piece that use to be on the front was aslo part of the pkg. The premium package replaced the Sahari (sp) pkg. I would have ordered the Unlimited Rubicon but it was not yet available.

I never thought a lot about goodyear tires,(because of their car tire line) until I worked for th PO. they can't make a tough tire, that's for sur.e All the abuse we put them through, I can't believe they hold up even when the tread is coming off(the doofus carrier didn't even NOTICE!!! I had to tell him, coulda hurt someone, and we are required to make daily checks). they all wear horrible uneven because I doubt a postal vehicle in the country is within 10% of factory alignment anyway!
