NOt sure about the difficulty if you want to do it yourself, my understanding from some friends was that it would be a pain, but it may not be at all. I ended up having mine done by a local garage a few years ago that is not the dealer. It cost me around $90 if I remember correctly and i haven't had a problem since.

It's not all that hard. My 99 ZR2's lines started leaking around 33,000 miles. It still had the warranty so the dealer did it. It's not all that hard. Just drop the skid plate and have the right tools and you should be fine. I would suspect about 1- 1 1/2 hours to do the job.

My mechanic noticed mine wear leaking and changed them about 2 weeks ago.

took about 2 hours for him to change them.

if you can? i would see if there is aftermarket ones available...seems to be a common problem with the GM ones leaking. they were 2 crimps on the collar and they changed them to 3 (something like that?)

Anyone know if they have corrected this problem?

I picked up the Blazer last night, and didn't get a chance to look at the line. This morning I went to check out their work and found they replaced them both. Only one line was leaking,so they either replaced them both without asking and didn't want to piss me off by trying to charge me for both,or I got an early Christmas present.

2 lines are joined together to make 1.

they have to replace it as a kit..
