Just bought on Saturday

Just bought a 2500 Yukon XL with the 6.0L, 4.10 gears. 1SD package with Nav, sunroof & DVD.

I kicking around the idea of lifting it a few inches since it will take the occasional trip off road. (I'm an ex jeeper but the trips have been getting less severe)

It looks like the RCD kit is the choice in the San Diego area. I only want to go about 4" so I can still tow my car and trailer with ease. Anyone have an opinion on the RCD kits or other reccomendations?

Good choice. IMO the RCD Kit is the best looking kit and believe me or not, by design it is a 4" kit.

Thanks. I'm also looking at cold air intake and catback. If I'm gonna spend the wad I may as well do it at christmas time ;)

yeah the RCD is the way to go. Its a 4 inch front diff drop so you can pretty much have it between 4-6 inches I think, unless there's a slight knuckle lift to it as well.

for exhaust, go magnaflow!

Magnaflow? Interesting. Does the Flowmaster have to much drone on these?
