5.3 flexfuel?

I was checking out the 2005, Silverado 1500's and ran across a window sticker listing a 5.3 flexfuel not vortec. I could not find any info on the GM site any ideas?This was not a Hybrid just an extended 4x4.

The flexfuel engine is the one that is able to run on regular gas or E85 (85% ethanol).

I have one of these, as far as I know, I've never used the "flex" part of it.

I had flex fuel on my S10. Only difference is the fuel filter has duel inlets for the different types of fuel. No big deal, just more expensive to replace the filter.
