The GMC wheels has a slightly different fender line front that makes it possible to run the 315-75 where as if I was to run the 315-75 on my Chevy they would rub the lower plastic valence. And I "think" the GMC wheel has a slightly different offset that also makes it possible to run the 35inch tire.

I'd love to run the 35incher w/out a lift!

I didn't know about the offset difference between the chevy/gmc, but I did notice that he had removed his plastic valence. I am also considering going to a 315/70/16, it being a 70 aspect ratio makes it about an inch smaller in diameter, but about the same width.
