oil change ?

Has anyone taken the grinder to the plate thats right by the drain plug ? Wouldn't you think someone would have taken a measurement or at least seen that it wouldn't quite clear? I was goona get a funnel or cut a gallon jug but didn't really wanna lay there holding it.

While I have them on the lift I take a couple channel lock pliers and put a bit of a lip on each and every one of them.

It doesn't need to be turned down too much, just enough that the oil rolls back instead of forwards.

 

I agree that GM should have pulled the tape measure out on this one.

yeah thats a good tip, just bend it down a little and it'll run the right way.
