Nice elevators and all, but I kinda like this one that I helped fill late last summer. Actually, this is the malting plant, the elevator that recieved the barley from the farms was north of town, this then recieved the barley, malted it, and sent it on out by rail to the breweries.

It was a dream come true for this beer drinker, harvesting the barley for the beverage I love.

Hey Silver...what about the ones at Topeka...brings back memories of when I went to KSU & travelling thru Topeka to go back & forth from home

Brings back memories here too. We'd climb the outside ladder to the top. Then shoot M-80's off with a wrist rocket. In flat Nebraska you could here them things 10 miles away.
