Installing cab marker lamps

I'm curious as to whether there is enough room to snake the wires over the headliner if you simply remove the console.  Seems to me there'd be less risk of damage to the headliner if you only had to remove the console.  Is there a large hole?  Is there enough room to use a coat hanger to snag the marker lamp wires and guide them over the headliner to the door post?

Yes, there is plenty of room to route wires.  The hole is nearly as wide as the overhead console (If your talking about the long console.  Not sure about the short one.)  I ran my wires for my cd changer display over the headliner with a coat hanger.  The outer lights might be more difficult.  You may need to lower down the front edge of the liner to have enough room to work.
