FUEL FILTER ?

What brand fuel filter do you guys use when its time to change? Any bad experiences with any brands? Do you need to buy the high dollar filters or is there even any difference in them? 2001 z71 5.3

Where I live, Carquest carries 2 filters for my 2001 Silverado. One is about $9.00, the other is about $15.00. I use the better quality (I hope) $15.00 part.

AC-Delco for everything except air which is K&N.

always use a/c delco for gas filters,first you cant go wrong with it and

its not much maybe around 6 to 10 bucks so go a/c.

I have tried all the parts stores in this area and nobody carries the AC Delco line. Advance used to and now only has Purolator. Is GM the only place to buy one? I believe my Delco part number is GF 626. There is also a GF 652 listed for my ride. Which one should I buy....when I find them, that is? Thanks for your help. This is a great board.
