"Service Air Bag"

I started my 2004 RCSB Silverado this morning and I got a message that said "Service Air Bag". This made me wonder because it is the first service message I ever received on my truck. I noticed the dash indicator light stayed on too while I drove to work and it didn't go off until I turned the ignition off. Lunch time came around and I started the truck but this time the "Service Air Bag" message did not come on. The dash indicator light blinked about 5 times when I first turned the key but it did not stay on like before. So, should I be concerned or not? I assume if there is a problem somewhere the "Service Air Bag" message should come on every time I start the truck. Any info would be appreciated.

Since you don't want that thing blowing up in your face for no reason I would take your truck down to the Dealer and have it checked out. It may be nothing or it may be something important, but at least you will have piece of mind once it is checked. :wtf:
