just wanted to introduce myself Dont own a GM truck YET. Just sold my Ram, and am looking at 2001-03 silverado's and sierra's. I want an extended cab and Z71. Any pointers while shopping?? Certain things I should look for in these years??? I thank you in advance for any info. Cant wait to be a proud new member of a GM

Welcome (or Velkom) to the forum! It's a great place to get all the info you need for your GM Truck.

What side of the state are you from. On the West Coast (Holland that is) we have two Very Good used dealers, who have high quality trucks and SUV's. VanDam and Wyrick are the best, good service, price and the quality of truck is just like new.

Welcome to the forum. I also live in Michigan, Lapeer County. Depending on what your looking for these forums have a lot of info, you can do searches to check for info on the vehicles your looking for here. I just got an 05 2WD Ext. Cab, replacement for my 02.

Just go into one of the platform specifics and post your question, I'm sure you'll get lot's of opinions.
