rotor change, 99 k2500 burb

anyone have pointers to where i might find instructions on how to r&r the front rotors on a 99 k2500 (454) burb? searched this forum, but didnt' find anything. also have a haynes, but it is useless for this truck.

If I remember correctly, you have to press out the studs and then remove the rotor, then install the studs with the new rotor in place.

If it is like my 95 K3500 you have to take the nut off of the axle.

I don't know much about the 2500/3500's, but aren't the 4 wheel drives "floating" type rotors? My '92 has those, and all you have to do is remove the caliper, and the rotor just slides off.

 

But like I said, that's a 1/2 ton, 4 wheel drive.

the 2500's unfortunately are not as easy as the 1500's.
