Finally gettin rid of the last stuff outa the tahoe before i actually sell the truck. This was hands down one of my favorite if not favorite mods i did to the truck. I have an escalade now and it honestly is a joke. Basically you get this console and your interior is just as nice as an escalade. It is sad but true. All my friends got in my escalade and said "what's different between this and your tahoe?" GM decided to put a $3500 price tag on this console so that no one would want to make there tahoe as nice as he salade they charge $20k more for.

As for the console itself. It is gray in color aka pewter. My interior was called "neutral/gray" and this console is pewter (what cadillac calls the same color). This could be dyed to match any interior as another member "Sin" has done his. The leather on the lid is in perfect condition with only one spot of minor wear on the back edge (not visible). It has some minor "rubbed smooth" wear spots that are not visible ATALL on the gray part of the cupholder area. There is also a red spot on the carpet where a cherry blow pop (d**n those things are good) fell inbetween the seats. You can only see this when the seats are out or the console is uninstalled. Could probably be rubbed out with some carpet cleaner. On the inside of the console there is the CB mounting bracket for my old PA microphone. I dont have a screwdriver that will get in there to take it out but could be removed with the right tool in 10 seconds. There is also the microphones mounting jack on the inside's inside removable panel. Both these things coule be removed but small holes would result. I chose to leave them in and let the buyer do whatever with them.

I paid $400 to have the nasty factory woodgrain painted gloss black to match my truck. I tried to disassemble the woodgrain as meticulously as possible but this stuff was not meant to come off. I cracked it in a couple very minor spots. This is not noticible to 99% of america but I am showing the flaws in this thing so whoever gets it isnt suprised by a couple minor defects. The paint itself isnt in the greatest of conditions but for something that gets used everyday I'd say it has held up very well. Detailed pictures below give you a better idea.

When my truck was broken into they ripped out the processor display that is mounted in the console. When they did this it peeled the paint they came with the trim ring. The trim ring covers this up 100% but if you don't want the trim ring you will have to have the top section repainted. The pictures explain this better.

The electronics of this console (lights, clock, cigarette lighters) are all functional but would need some wiring.

This console does not come with the factory driver info center or factory changer...however...It does come with an Alpine 6 disc MP3 Ai-Net changer. This changer was actually never hooked up and could be sold as brand new. I just don't have the box for it anymore. I paid $300 for the changer and they go used on ebay all the time for $200-250. The console can be purchased w/out the changer but it has a hole cut in the side of it for the changer...so i wouldnt recommend doing this unless you plan on rebuilding the bottom half with new carpet or making a filler piece.

Where the driver info center should be was replaced by a lexan switch panel. This holds 10 LED small rocker switches. These switches are the cleanest looking ones ive ever seen and when in the "on" position have a green LED that matches Chevy interiors incredibly well. They switches new were $5 each.

In order for this console to fit in your vehicle you need a different glove box/lower dash panel. The piece that is for sale with this console is "neutral" in color but could be painted or dyed to match any interior. This thing was flawless until about 10 minutes ago when i slipped outside and dropped it coming into the house (im a dumbass). It now has 2 minor scratches on it and are pictured below. Not noticible unless you're lookin for it. I ordered this from the dealer for i believe $175-200 (dont remember)

So here is what you get.

Custom Painted Escalade Console (Gray/Pewter)

Lower Dash piece/glove box (neutral)

Alpine Ai-Net MP3 6-disc changer

Custom made switch panel w/10 LED switches

Price is: $850 w/the changer

$750 w/out ($100 more=$300 changer)

I know alot of people were interested in this so I'm not too negotiable on the price. You're getting almost $4k worth of stuff if you bought it all new at the dealer.

Shipping probably won't be cheap b/c this thing isnt light like a normal chevy console and also I'm going to have this professionally packaged to insure shipping intergrity. Buyer pays all shipping/handling fees.

You may think that is way to much to pay for a console but considering what all you get you may think differently after looking at this ebay auction...this one has no dash filler pieces, no alpine changer, and arent custom painted:
