Programming Keyless Fob?

Anybody know how to program a new Fob to work with my 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada? My scond key fob is pretty useless now, and I bought a new Fob off Ebay that was from a Trailblazer but was told I could program it to work with my car. Anybody know how to do this?

My dealership wants $100 to program the remote.

Get in and close all doors.

Put the key in the ignition, hold the power unlock button on the door and cycle the key on then off 2 times (ON-OFF-ON-OFF)

Release the power unlock button and the locks should cycle to confirm you are in the programming mode.

The following step will need to be completed for all fobs to be programmed to this vehicle, even if they already are. Press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the FOB for 15 seconds, or until the doors lock and unlock. Repeat for each FOB.

Turn the ignition to RUN to exit programming mode, then try out your transmitters to confirm proper operation.

Wow thanks for that. That took no more than 5 minutes and my dealer said it was a 1/2 hour job.

That is in Canadian funds but the oil changes up here is $40 from them. Tire rotation $25.
