Bigger Oil filter? for 2004 4.8 4800 engine

I have a friend with a 2004 Silverado 4.8 4800 engine in it and he said the oil filter is real small. Is there a larger size for them? AC number? I too like to find a nice big one over the stock size when I can. Thanks in advance for any help on this!

use the PF59, or the 2002 filter if you need to look it up in a catalog

I use a Bosch 3423. It's a little bigger. I'd still like bigger yet, but maybe do a dual-filter set-up one day... unless someone knows a bigger Bosch that fits ....

I believe the wix number for the filter is 51522 it's longer than the 51042, i used to use it on my camaro with the ls1 and the wix number was supposed to be 51042 but i put on a 51522, the napa number is 1522, they use the wix filter too. Hope this helps.
