New truck- need lift- tires for 17" rim?

I just got my 05 z71 yesterday. I want about a 3 or 4 inch lift. How big of a tire can I run without scrubbing? I am having a hard time finding 17" mud tires.

I have 35's (34.48) and a 6" lift. I still have a little rub. I have done a little triming and need to do a little more. So with 3-4" of lift 33"s are about it.

i have a 2005 crew cab 6" pro-comp lift with 35" BF MUDDS on a 17x9 rim and there is a little rubbing up front you are going to need to shave the front air dam some
